Winter Blues already October 24, 2015, 10:26:01 PM Well, I am officially all bummed out now! I had to put the birds in storage this morning. I really hate the fact that I have to do that. I envy you guys sooooo much that get to keep yours in the driveway all year round. I love my cars and love driving them. But living in the middle of the rust belt like I do I'm afraid I have to do that. I hate rust more than I hate being without them for a few months a year. What makes it worse is they are stored off property so I can't even sneak a peak now and again at them. Is it April yet???? Quote Selected
Winter Blues already Reply #1 – October 25, 2015, 02:22:19 PM Well, the tradeoff for snow belt salt is either old people and hurricanes, or liberal snobs and earthquakes.I'll have the snow, relaxed gun laws, and simply go without my fun car for 4 months or so, LOL.Oh, and GO ROYALS! Quote Selected
Winter Blues already Reply #2 – October 25, 2015, 04:24:11 PM It's even worse when you have to put a car away for the winter that you're making payments on. The Mustang will be going into the garage after this weekend... Quote Selected
Winter Blues already Reply #3 – October 25, 2015, 05:04:11 PM I feel your pain. Mine will be going in storage probably this week or next. My storage building is about 20 miles away too, so I don't get to check on it very often. Quote Selected
Winter Blues already Reply #4 – October 25, 2015, 05:33:14 PM I'll be putting the Thunderbird away for the winter in a couple of weeks with the wife's Mustang following a week or two later. I usually put them away just before Thanksgiving as the first two weeks of November are usually pretty nice still. They just sit in the garage under car covers. They stay that wall till around the first of April or so. Unless late March is unusually warm and the snow/salt has been washed away. That hasn't been the case the last few winters and they have ended up staying in the garage till the second week of April. Quote Selected
Winter Blues already Reply #5 – October 26, 2015, 04:12:05 PM I can't imagine having to put cars in storage. I am glad to live in Oklahoma. Short winters, no salt on the roads. Quote Selected

Neener-neener-neener LMAO, he's got us there, Vinnie. Guess we'll have to post up some mid-January/February cruising pics...........(though I may get more snow/salt up here in Tulsa than Vinnie does down in Ardmore).....I still leave the cat in driving status, year round, just in case we have that perfect 75* day....... Winter Blues already Reply #12 – October 27, 2015, 08:52:16 PM Down here in Southern Indiana the weather does get cooler but usually by December Paula's cougar goes in to a rental storage unit until the end of next March. My garage out our house is not large enough for storage of the cat. Quote Selected
