Teaser...may I have my sandwich cut in half please?

X

It's interesting, scary, and cool to think that I could potentially, truly grenade this thing. Debating about whether or not I'll use some "expendable" parts to put me in a situation where I literally don't care LOL.

Build thread coming. I did say I would talk about it eventually. And I literally just started working on it so it's not reeeeally like I've been holding out :)
Truth: I have a Pantech Link II (Blackberry imitator) so I need to remember to bring my camera to places. Frankly that's also a dinosaur but it's much more worthy of taking car pics. And I almost always forget. So I take horrendous phone pictures of everything while everyone else posts 16-kajillion megapixel photos from THEIR phones. No I will not be assimilated into the Borg. This phone is a tank and I love my keyboard!

And, no worries, the other black...'88...XR7...Cougar is not being ignored. Still waiting for my friend's dad to finish his current body job and then do my front subframe. I will truly be trolling some people next summer
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...
1988 Black XR7 Trick Flow top end, Tremec 3550
1988 Black XR7 Procharger P600B intercooled, Edelbrock Performer non-RPM heads, GT40 intake AOD, 13 PSI @5000 RPM. 93 octane

AOD....has a Level 10 Performance....something..converter. Inflation adjusted (most of the receipts from the 1-inch stack are from well before Y2K) it was about $500. Claimed to be 3K RPM, non-lock. 1 piece hardened input shaft and some shift kit. But no mention of beefing up clutch packs/bands or drive members.

Blower is a Procharger P600B. Apparently a minor oil leak, but mechanically it seems great.
