Estimate value, please May 07, 2015, 09:15:20 AM I'm looking at an '88 Turbo, no engine, needs paint, stick car. Straight body and good but dirty interior. Thinking 5.0 swap. What's it worth? Quote Selected
Estimate value, please Reply #1 – May 07, 2015, 09:24:44 AM It's got the 4 cylinder spec trans, so that won't hold up too long behind a 5.0 with some work done to it, not to mention the short first gear.....Needs paint as in faded/peeling clear coat or has some rust? $500 max. Offer $350 and see what happens. Just my opinion.... Quote Selected
Estimate value, please Reply #2 – May 07, 2015, 09:55:05 AM I haven't seen it in person, but the seller says 'rust free and straight.' Quote Selected

No engine and dirty ain't much more than a parts car...15 years ago I was buying decent cond, running TC at auction for $400-$700(dealers were mostly afraid of them)... Yeah those prices are probably up some now(none at auction these days) but you're still looking at a project car... Quote Selected
Estimate value, please Reply #4 – May 07, 2015, 12:37:56 PM There's a roller tc locally on craigslist, just missing engine and trans. Guy has it listed at $250 Quote Selected
Estimate value, please Reply #5 – June 27, 2015, 09:30:28 AM $250. I paid $240 for my last roller. Why $240 - because it was a "meet me in the middle" offer between my $200 and his $280. $280 is apparently what the sper offered, but he had to take it to the syard and had no trailer. I showed up with trailer and he "didn't have to mess with it."Geoff Quote Selected
