My valve covers ain't gonna work.

. I saw the price and thought...wow.
I'd compare them to a set of stock valve covers to be sure the new set has the bolt holes in the proper spots...but you may have, so...
On mine, I was able to put the covers on after the spacer simply by taking the TB off, and the bit screwed-in fitting on the back driver's side corner of the intake.
The breather cap on my v/c is baffled, and there's also a PCV valve. I'm not to worried about the PCV, as I'd retain use of the one at the back of the intake, but I don't really care for the piece of hose sticking out of the front of the valve cover.
With the v/c swapped to opposite sides, there's not enough room to get the breather cap, and use it as an oil filler...I've not experimented with it too much yet, I will later this afternoon though, and post my results.
All of this wouldn't normally be an issue, but these v/c's came with the '84 and I really like the look of them. I might end up selling them or trading for a set that will work with 1.7 roller rockers.
