Bolts not torqued down tight enough or too much, bad gasket, valve cover edges not trued up... Need a little more info on what ya used (type o valve covers, used/new, type of gasket used/new etc...).

the type of valve covers I used were morosos, they are new, the gasket were MR. Gasket ones for V8 302 and so on, gasket was also new. I also used the T-bar wingnuts. The side that is leaking is the passenger. The driver side is fine. Also this might be the problem, When I was taking the old bolts off the old valve covers, one of the bolts broke, so it is stuck in there until I drill it out with an extractor bit. would that make it leak if one bolt was missing?

exactly which row of bolts,, along the exhaust or along the intake,,

how about inspecting that hole ,, did you go too deep, or hit an angle only to bust a crack in along the intake runner,,

id be pulling that off and getting my magnifying glass on it.
