Video of my gas leak Reply #2 – March 07, 2015, 10:34:12 PM I don't believe so, it ONLY leaks when it's RUNNING. I think it's the steel lines going to/from the pump hangar assy. Quote Selected
Video of my gas leak Reply #3 – March 07, 2015, 10:38:22 PM Might be the return line...Hint: If, rather when you drop the tank to repair...let it dry really good for a day or so..and be careful when you take the tank down so that any fuel remaining will not run off and onto your face...or eyes. Not personal experience, but an old guy told me once that it hurts like a real mother when you get gas in your eye(s)..I've no reason to doubt those words.. Quote Selected

Video of my gas leak Reply #5 – March 08, 2015, 03:39:14 PM My 83 cougar leaked exactly like that. Matter of fact, that was the reason the previous owner wanted to get rid of it. The problem was, the return line had rotted off the top plate of the sender. Quote Selected
Video of my gas leak Reply #6 – March 08, 2015, 05:03:52 PM My buddy and I were working on a drag prepped fox mustang, were chasing problems with a fuel pump, buddy got 110 octane race fuel in his face. He took off running to the sink to wash it out Quote Selected

I did the math, it's only getting like 7, (yes, SEVEN) mpg. :-O Quote Selected
Video of my gas leak Reply #8 – March 09, 2015, 08:59:15 AM Yeah, if it was the feed I would think you would feel some type of engine issues. Either way, feed or return, the fix is the same. Drop that tank and fix it Quote Selected
Video of my gas leak Reply #9 – March 09, 2015, 11:41:25 AM Good time to replace the tank if it's an original. You can get one for about $100 shipped from Ebay. Quote Selected
