Another new bird!

I know I just posted my introduction a few days ago but I wanted to share this with you guys. While asking around about doing a v8 swap on my 87' I came across the opportunity to grab an 85' Elan model with a 302 for cheap. The second I got in touch with the guy I realized it would be better to sell my 87' and re-start my project with the 85'. The body was repainted pearl white at some point but it has sat outside for awhile so the paint has chipped and some rust spots have appeared. The body is in good shape though, needing only trim and rear bumped cover replaced. The dashboard and display need to be replaced along with the headliner and carpeting. The seats and door panels need some work but don't need replacement per say. The 302 was supposedly remanufactured by Jasper and a cat back dual exhaust was added, along with a brake job done at some point. Since the car has throttle body injection my question for you guys is how easy would it be to swap out for a 4 barrel carb setup? Any input or links would be appreciated.

Strip the parts you need out of the 87.

I like 4 eyes much better honestly, but i think your other car was in better shape and not much more work/money for a 302 swap.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I guess I'm just a sucker for the four eyes haha. I also didn't pay much for it so it was an easy choice. If I don't get rid of my 87' by Christmas it may become a donor car.
