Power Door Lock Problem

Hey guys,

I have a 1987 LX t-bird with power everything. The unlock button works but the lock button doesn't. Any idea what could be causing this problem? It's happening on both the driver side and passenger side.

Thanks!

There are two relays under the passengers seat. Check if one of them has come unplugged. If not, try swapping the relays and see if the problem changes.

the relays for the door locks are under the passenger seat? that might explain why my door locks dont work at all. neither does my keyless entry pad

Keyless entry cars do not have the lock relays. Locks are controlled by the keyless entry module.
