blued headlight

had an extra pair of dingey headlight laying around that i was practicing cleaning up. and while i had them apart i tried to give them a little extra touch. i only did the left ones in the pictures just to get an idea. im not sure how it effects light distribution but this is going on a car that i wont drive at night anyways. thoughts? its going on a blue bird. there are no bulbs in these lights in the pictures either. this one i also barely blued the inner as well but you cant really tell

I cut a slot in the light housing for a bulb like they do them in the oems for the yellow park lights.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Yes please explain this method that you did to your lights looks great.
I also notice cars with blue headlights when I am on the road at night it looks like blue light instead of white light -
I have tried to find these blue headlamps - bought a 60$ pair and they still look white to me.

Pretty much any halogen bulb Will be anything from yellow to bright white, even the ones with blue glass

If you want that blue look when the headlights are on, that's when you go HID.
You can pretty much get bulbs in any color temperature

thanks guys. i used chrome tape stuff to rechrome the inside. then in certain spots i put some blue transparent sticky wrap stuff. so its still reflective just blue in spots. i did the whole inside and it was far too blue. im hoping with a blue tinted bulb it'll give it just the right amount.
