Anyone running the Volvo FMIC/Ranger Rad on their Turbo Coupe? Air issues maybe?

So I grabbed a explorer radiator which is the same size as the ranger one. I pulled out my condensor and all the A/C stuff. I keep in my stock thermostat and was able to use my stock hoses. I used a 16" ebay universal fan which is wired to my pimp to kick on at 195F. I "Believe" its setup to pull and it feels like its pulling towards to the engine when it kicks on. Its obviously mounted on the radiator.

Now I used to never go over 195-200 on the highway with my stock rad/fan setup. Now since the change over im getting it up to almost 210F on the highway. I am missing the lower air dam but that wasnt on even with the old setup. Im trying to figure out what it could be. Im missing a air dam and lost my little radiator shroud that was molded to the stock setup. Anyone have any ideas??

I dont know how im going to mount a air  with the way it was mauled off from the previous owner..

And there is a noticeable air gap around the sides of the radiator now since its smaller..any ideas guys??

If you want to use an explorer radiator, grab one from a 4.0 SOHC or 5.0 explorer, same mounts and endtanks, but thicker core.

Heres a pic where you can see how thick it is:
87 Thunderbird 5.0
Engine: 97 p-code explorer block, heads, and intake; 88 HO cam, 1.7 RR's, A9P, Kenne Bell 2.1 Flow/Blow 8psi, 42lb injectors, LMAF, 75mm TB, Tuned by Don Lasota
Trans: 02 Stang 4r70w with Baumann TCS
Suspension: Front: 03-04 cobra springs and struts, TC rack. Rear: CHE arms, ChuckW shock mounts, Bullitt springs and shocks
5 bolt with 95 mustang front and mark vii rear.
TC 3.73 L/S rear
03-04 SVT Cobra 17x9's with 275/40r17's.

Running a TC engine above 195 is not something i would do. I am doing a build on Bruiser and will post the cooling system i run. Never allow a coupe to run past 195 MAX. You can adjust the PIMP for an earlier fan on and off time. And a single fan is not something i would  do either on that car. Also running a 195* stat is a NO NO on a coupe. The max i use is a 180 and  normally run a 160* stat 99% of the time.  Is the radiator new or used. It is a little small if memory serves me. You need a 2 row to accomplish a safety margin. The Volvo inter-cooler is a bad fit on a stock upper.  You definitely need the valance  have a great day guys.
