Powdercoated GT40 Tubular Intake with spacer - $400 July 27, 2014, 04:02:21 PM I've decided to go a different direction with my build and I've decided to put a trick flow top end on my 302. I have a beautiful, official ford racing GT40 intake (not an explorer lower) that has been powder coated metallic silver. I have also purchased a 1/2 spacer with gaskets and new hardware ($50). I paid $400 for the intake alone - someone will get a great deal. Bought it off corral here (corral.net)Since I owe so much to this board and the wealth of information that's in the archives, I'm advertising here before I put it on corral or ebay. How about a few pics? More pics here...PM me if you're interested -Geoff Quote Selected
Powdercoated GT40 Tubular Intake with spacer - $400 Reply #1 – July 31, 2014, 08:51:09 AM Back to the top. Had some interest. To answer the questions:1. No - I haven't run the intake, but it's an intake - what can go wrong?2. I was planning a mild build, but I bought some heads that are heavily ported and they flow more than I can get out of this one, so I have to change direction.3. The guy I bought it from said that one of the fuel line bolt holes will need to be tapped. I haven't done that.4. This is the actual matching lower and upper, so I don't want to separate.5. This has a tapped #5 runner, so we can run it on a fox without modification.Hope this helps !Geoff Quote Selected
Powdercoated GT40 Tubular Intake with spacer - $400 Reply #2 – July 31, 2014, 02:36:03 PM I'd be all over this if I didn't have a wedding and honeymoon to pay for in two months. This wedding thing is killing my ability to pay for expensive car parts. All I can do is window shop :hick: Quote Selected
