Garrett T3/T4 50 Trim question Reply #1 – January 04, 2014, 06:10:07 PM .63 A/R with a stage 3 wheel. It is a super combo on a stock head 2.3. If you don't like it I'll buy it from you. It's that good.BTW, I've had that header on my TR7 for 4 + years now. It is not as pretty as it was, but is still solid. I agree with that choice. I am running a custom made 3" swingvalve gate, so I can't speak to what to do on the wastegate. Quote Selected
Garrett T3/T4 50 Trim question Reply #2 – May 21, 2014, 06:19:42 PM Appreciate the response, havent had any time over the last few months to work on the project, but thanks to a change in jobs, im finally able to do the install of all this stuff. decided instead of moving the ac out an inch, to just pull it off becuase it doesnt work anyways so ive been working on getting the lines detached and the nose off the car so I can do the intercooler... but, before that, I need to figure out what to do with this turbo, header, and wastegate. Can anybody with a similar setup using rotated headers send me a picture of what they look like installed? Im running into some clearance issues with the oil return line hitting the header currently, but Im also just not incredibly familiar with turbo setups, as any time ive ever worked on this car the turbo back to the dp stayed attached to the stock manifold. Really and truly, if someone could just give me an brief step by step on installing it, that would be amazing. After investing the money into these parts, im terrified of f***ing something up.
