Oil pressure

Hi guys,
I'm working on a mini board computer for my bird. Can you tell me please, what's the oil pressure in several modes for 2.3 turbo?

I need these values:

Cold engine, idling
Cold engine, driving (the highest value)
Warm engine, idling
Warm engine, driving

I'd like to buy a sensor with propper range. I'm thinking, if 100 PSI sensor is enough even for cold engine driving, when the oil is really thick and pressure is high.

You just need to use your factory sensor, but build a table translating sensor resistance to pressure. Can your interface board measure ohms?

I'd like to use something more acurate, which doesn't require aditional resistor simulating the gauge. I'm thinking about something like this, but I'm not sure, if 100 PSI range is enough. It should be OK for fuel too.

I'm working on small board computer, it should have small LCD display in the place, where usually is A-meter gauge. It should show only three values per screen and have small indicators above and below them. Something like low oil pressure warning lamp, charging warning lamp, headlamp indicator and probably fog lamp indicator. I will make a picture, if you are interrested. I'm doing this, because silver bird will be probably my only daily driver next year.

thats a pretty interesting unit.. seems they say it can be submerged in fuel or oil as well... if i read it correctly

Yes, they can be used for either water, oil or fuel.

Does somebody know those values I was asking for in my first post, pls?

0-100 will be fine.

I'd be concerned about the rated temperature range of that sensor. I'd go with an automotive unit that can take higher temps.

This should be an automotive unit. It's operating temperature is rated between -40 and 120 ºC. I think it should survive couple more degrees for a while in the extreme conditions. Normal operating temperature for oil should be somewhere about 100 - 110 °C
