forget the last posted ? help with this ?

i read the tech article. thanks for the help.    since the mustang rearend is shorter and will effect my wheel spacing. could i use a 8.8 from a stang and be able to use a rim say a 17inch with a deep lip like a 17x11 without worry. if i use a bird rear and its longer then i wouldnt be able to use anything over a 17x9.  i would like to use a 17x11 in back and 17x8 in front  what do ya think

Well some Wheel manufactures offer diffrent offsets for the same wheel size.  Although if you want a completly custom rim to your specifications is more costly.

I would bet on nothing more then 9 " with out any major rubbing. Prolly 8 or so would work fine.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
