TC header and air dam swap November 26, 2013, 05:24:51 PM So I pulled the upper header panel on my 87 LX and put a TC header in its place..I want to swap the lower piece as well but it appears there is a difference in the moulding between the wheel well and the header panel. Can I use the LX trim piece with cornering light and the TC panel or no..Will I need the TC trim pieces...Also how many guys are running JUST the upper TC panel with the regular lower part?..I don't think it looks bad with just the upper..Thanks. TC header and air dam swap Reply #1 – November 26, 2013, 10:50:36 PM Yes, you can use the same moldings. I used the standard bumper cover and the TC (which I have now). I like the TC better. Quote Selected
TC header and air dam swap Reply #2 – November 26, 2013, 11:45:27 PM I'm running a stock lx style bumper with tch header panel everything works and lines up fine. same thing with the lx senders and tc headerpanel and bumper. it should line up fine. you can also swap the molding on the fenders. but they should be the same style.
