That's about a $2-2500 car.

Maybe less. It looks to have been hit on the passenger side front at some point. Look how crumpled the inner fender is by the air filter box. The car has been painted at some point as the data plate is missing on the driver's door jamb and there appears to be masking tape around the striker (strike her!) on the passenger side door jamb.

That plastic is from the factory and sometimes its removal was overlooked at the dealer during delivery.  One of my cars had the same thing.

The data plate is there.  You can see the corner of it.

There is a VIN sticker on the passenger fender so it's either a white fender from another car that wasn't painted, masked original, or not painted.

But yeah, that inner fender and the way that cap sits in there requires closer inspection.  The VIN on the fender doesn't match the inner fender.

I'm not disagreeing that something could have happened and even a possible repaint not including the door jambs but those couple things are there and the striker plastic is factory.  That inner fender doesn't look right.
"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"

I didn't know that there was a plastic/tap under the striker from the factory. I'd never seen it before.

Looking at the pictures again I can see the corner of the data plate. It just blends in with the paint since they are both white.

I still think it washiznit on the passenger side front. I don't think that the inner fender could get crumpled like that any other way. I doubt it would have left the factory like that.

somehow im thinking the reserve is about 5k minimum.
you almost can smell the desparation in the write up,, the owners of cougars think they are more valuable than they really are,, hell id be temped as a cougar lover but i can only say that at the end of the day,, its a small market of buyers out there.
cougs are still refered to as old people cars.... the birds still have a more sporty look.

if this were a bird... 5k is still steap
