MSD box & Welding

Well I thought having the battery out of the car was good enough, but having the ground of the MSD box to the chasis was a problem when we tac welded a bracket up.  I had to send the MSD box off today to get repaired.  Lesson learned here.  They any where from 25 to 80 to fix it, anything over they will box up and ship back not fixed for no charge, so i am hoping they can fix it.  Couple of friend have fried theirs after starting car with battery charger hook up, of course they tell me this stuff after the fact, lol.

MSD received the box yesterday, so hopefully will be back soon.

interesting,

wonder if they mention something or illud to this in thier warranty paper work.

I like 3M paint defender warranty,,
any company could use this to cover thier tails.......short sweet and to the point.
