Mustang II September 21, 2013, 01:05:42 PM anyone here like Mustang II's? I'm getting one in a labor trade deal this week. It's a 76 or 77, can't remember for sure. I traded it off last year for a 95 Dodge Ram and then that guy sold it to a friend of mine. Now he needs the front end replaced in his 92-96 f150 and said I can have the II back if I do the work on his truck. Just replacing the center chunk (which on TTB's drops out the back side of the housing) and swapping his auto hubs for manual hubs. SHOULD only take a few hours. The II needs some work, has no engine/trans but the body and interior are (or at least were a year ago, I haven't seen it since it left here) near mint other than the hatch being rotted out.I figure since nobody has spoken for any of the drivetrain parts from my TC, that is probably what will end up in it. engine will be N/A and converted to carbureted with a Holley 350cfm 2 barrel that is hanging out in the shed. I know with the lower compression it will be a dog, but I am looking for another 2.3 to rebuild to go in it, probably build it up like a dirt track engine. Quote Selected

Mustang II Reply #2 – September 21, 2013, 04:16:25 PM I had a beautiful rust-free (from Texas) 1978 that I bought with a blown-up 2.3. I traded it away before I could ever do anything with it. The new owner put a 302 in it, and liked to rub it in my face. I always wanted to find another cheap. Quote Selected
