factory turbo boost controller questions
88 turbo coupe auto......so i am thinking of ditching the aftermarket ebay boost controller i have been using for some time. i dont like its vacuum leak and the way it makes my car idle.
i looked at an illustration of a 87 merkur xr4ti, and it had the factory boost contoller hooked up to the air inlet and turbo outlet. but not to the wastegate, is this right? is there any better way to hook up the factory setup than what was stock for my car? i only ever got about 6 lbs of boost stock, but could get up to 16 with the aftermarket one. i would be happy in the middle
