Battery Relocation May 26, 2013, 09:22:40 PM So, to the guys that have done battery relocations, what type of fuse breaker do you guys run for the positive side of the battery? Battery Relocation Reply #1 – May 26, 2013, 09:42:56 PM I dont use a fuse or a breaker. Depends on the engine compression ETC ETC. Normally not more than 220-250 AMPS on high compression big blocks. Gear reduction starters draw much less. . Average is app 180 Amps. Quote Selected
