Poor ... Reply #1 – May 17, 2013, 07:56:16 PM Actually, just for a daily driver, that 88 T-Bird doesn't look all that bad.It is definitely something that can be restored rather easily by comparison with some cars that age with more miles. It looks better than my Kitty! But she has over 3 times as many miles, and has suffered the neglect of the previous owner, too. Quote Selected

Poor ... Reply #3 – May 18, 2013, 08:10:53 AM The first link is dead, and it was the first link that I called a sorry beat up . The other ones that still work are really nice, just stupid over-priced. Quote Selected

Maybe he got his zeros mixed up? Maybe he's working off of the old premise that "there's a sucker born every minute"? Who knows? But if he thinks he's actually going to get that much money? ...off of Craigslist, no less?... he's definitely swimming in Lake Silly! But, now, if he had a 68 Barracuda Square-back similar to this one with only 40,000 miles on it, that would be a BARGAIN!****Disclaimer: I'm not saying the one in the picture only has 40,000 miles on it. That link is just an illustration. The reason that I bring it up is that I have a friend who has one that is still all original and it only has 40,000 on it. It's been appraised at $18,000. Poor ... Reply #6 – May 18, 2013, 01:00:40 PM Quote from: jcassity;415454once upon a time i remember a cuda with side pipes,,You probably know that those were highly likely not stock. The cuda my friend has is all original. period. It had belonged to his grandfather who only drove it to the grocery store and to church. The car is originally from California. I believe, the Sacramento area. When the grandfather passed away the cuda became the property of both my friend and his brother. They take turns keeping it. Unfortunately, they live about 800 miles apart. The last time his brother came after the car, he towed it back to his place. He's doing some minor restoration on it. Quote Selected
