just slow down people.. use common sense

too many times i see / experience people who feel the need to do things like pass me up only to whip across in the driving lane and hit the exit just 500feet ahead... dumb stuff and the such............

but...........  when conditions are bad, why be stupid, you might kill someone for chosing to intentionally be stupid.

you never know what is around the bend or even dead ahead of you ~literally

I drive fast, I usually do 20+ speed limit. Having said that, I have only gotten 1 speeding ticket and never been involved in an auto accident (or ditched my car either). If roads busy, obey speed limit, weather conditions bad then drive safely. Can't count number of times people pass me in the rain on a curve.

It  me off to no end when the roads are slick, and one can barely see for a half mile, yet those idiots driving their tahoes, expeditions, and other big SUVs are still going the speed limit, or over.

Sure it's fine that they have 27 airbags to cushion their stupid asses, but they may take someone else with 'em. I'd rather not be that someone else..

With that said, about 2-3 times a week, I'll be leaving town on the on ramp...a semi will be in the right lane, no other traffic, and the sumbitch won't get over, forcing me to slow down, or gas on it to gt ahead.

I always get over if there's no traffic nearby if I'm the one in the right lane, and someone is on the ramp..

X2. Its allways the suv's in the ditch after first snow fall here.

I always stay in the right lane except to pass. By product of driving really large work trucks.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Be thankful you don't have to drive around here, we have some seriously crazy drivers in this place, that scare the hell outta me sometimes with some of the idiocy they pull. I've lost 2 of my nice cars now to morons. It doesn't get to me too much though cause I realize that is just part of the game. Cars can be here one minute, and then gone the next out there.

I drive pretty fast as well, but I have quite a bit of driving skill, so I can do it pretty safely regardless of conditions. Never wrecked a car, or been in an accident that was my fault. Only ever gotten one speeding ticket in my life, since I have always ran radar detectors in my cars, they have a hard time getting me, as I always know when I'm coming up near them to slow down.

I've only gotten one speeding ticket. I used to speed a lot as a kid, now I hardly ever do unless I'm just not paying close attention to my speed.

Here in Michigan, when entering an on-ramp, the vehicles that are on the highway have the right-of-way and it is up to you to adjust your speed accordingly to merge into traffic.

I agree that moving over to give the merging traffic plenty of space to enter the highway is something that I practice as well; however I'm not going to get upset with someone who is not in violation of the law.
