sometimes i wonder what agenda google has with respect to making sure no ones feels are hurt.
they are a world wide resouce but you would think that they would have the electronics and infrustructure in place to represent the individual local areas holidays.  Since they are "making a choice" to recognize holidays, people ect... its odd how they dont respect todays holiday the way they should on thier home page.
this isnt the first time ive noticed Google doing this type of thing,

This is my take, and if someone walks away with a hurt ass, so be it.

First, this country is supposed to be freedom to choose religion, yet there's one that is shoved down people's throats.
So, in my opinion, they should do something for every holiday, and not just religious holidays, either.
Of course then the ignorant people would protest the first time a Muslim holiday were noticed by google, or a Pagan holiday, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu...

The best thing I can think of..if you see something you don't like online, turn your box off, and walk away.

After all, religion is like your d*ck....something you shouldn't really go showing off in public, much less to young people. Let 'em grow up before they get brainwashed into a hateful, ignorant mindset that can never be corrected.

Now, I'm sorry you have a hurt butt, but if everyone considered the next guy and gal may not feel, think, believe, or have the same gender preference as they do, and acted accordingly, the world might just be a bit better place. You can also add racism to that...I hate an ignorant redneck that drops slurs. Regardless of culture, there's no need for it, and say it front of me, I'll do something about it.

Happy Easter to those of that faith, to everyone else, Happy Nice Spring Day, or something like that :)

Google is still a great search engine regardless, and the only one I use personally.

The irony here? Cesar Chavez was Catholic.

Google is quickly becoming way too large and controlling of a company. The way I see it, there is no alternitive to their power. Before too long they will fall, just like aol did back in the day. They have their hands in too many peoples pockets.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
