10" brake diagram? February 03, 2013, 12:34:22 PM Looking at a diagram or an exploded view of the 10" drum brake assembly, I need 4 of these, circled in red. I've lost 3 of the 4 of mine, and as far as I can find, the new wheel cylinder do NOT come with the links in the 10" setups, where the 9" parts DO. (wtf, right?)I've went too dang far to change everything, but Monday I'll holler at the local dealership and see what they say unless I get some action before then. Quote Selected
10" brake diagram? Reply #1 – February 03, 2013, 12:58:19 PM Here we go!It looks as if they're called wheel cylinder links. Those are what I need. 3 at least, but I'll take all 4 if someone has some they want to get rid of, for a 10" brake setup. Quote Selected
10" brake diagram? Reply #2 – February 03, 2013, 01:27:45 PM Problem solved, they'll be here Tuesday. I'll leave the diagram up for anyone else that may need it, since the title of thread will show up in a search.Pretty bad when I can look online and find what i need from a parts store but the employees can't locate it on their computer, while looking at a diagram! (What do I know...i didn't even know what they were called until I edited my first post lol)Again, problem solved, waiting on the truck. :) Quote Selected
10" brake diagram? Reply #4 – February 03, 2013, 06:49:48 PM since I just put shoes and wheel cylinders on 9" drums, the wheel cylinders just have a flat piston that pushes on the shoe. No potruding links. They were actually built into the shoe. Quote Selected
