Inline pictures in posts?

Is there a way to have uploaded pics appear in the middle of a post? I know I can use the {IMG} tags (with square brackets) to point to a pic on another site (like my homepage), but are *attachments* doomed to appear only at the end of a post?

I'm pretty sure they are.  You could attach them and then use IMG tags to point to them I think, but then you would end up with 2 copies of the same picture in the same post.
2000 Jaguar XK8 Convertible - 4.0L DOHC V8 (AJ27)
2018 Ford Explorer - 3.5L DOHC V6 (Duratec 35)
1999 Mercury Grand Marquis - 4.6L SOHC V8 (Modular)
1987 Mercury Cougar LS - 5.0L V8 (Windsor) [SOLD in 2009]

You could just upload them to ImageShack and link to them w/ IMG tags, if you don't want them appearing at the end of the post. (ImageShack will generate a page after an upload where you can just copy and paste the URL with IMG tags already tacked on, for posting in forums)

If you make a (free) account with them, you can keep track of the pics you post there.

I don't think there's a way to allow inline attachments - at least I haven't found anything in the admin control panel that allows it. If you want inline images you'll have to have them stored somewhere for now until I figure this out
