dashboard ?

im curious if i can use a dash from a v6 or a 4 for a v8 bird i will not be using any of my climate controls only guages and speedo are the dashs set up different from the 4-6-8s

do you mean the dash itself, or the instrument cluster?
The dash itself will work fine, if you don't mind messing with a ed lot of wires, the clusters are not as easy to swap, you have to do some work there, there are more knowlegeable people here than I to explain that, though.

I "think" that you will have to modify the tach to read properly for the V8 if the dash was originally in a V6 or I4 car.
