Hindsight, it sucks October 11, 2012, 09:28:59 AM So Pulled this out of the car to add some wires, fix some bare spots. Stripped the hard old tape off and not thinking carefully coiled it and put in it in a box. Get home and like an hour of untangling. Wish I put some zip ties on the different legs or something.... Hindsight, it sucks Reply #3 – October 11, 2012, 11:08:21 AM I would have but was lots of bare spots, this car sat in a barn for couple years before I got it. I'm the third owner its had which is pretty cool. But between first and third, the second had it completely apart in boxes in his barn. I find all kinds of nasty surprises whenever I open anything. I'm always glad when I see posts like this one that my T-bird has always been maintained. I don't have to do crazy projects like this because of it . Quote Selected
Hindsight, it sucks Reply #6 – October 12, 2012, 09:40:44 AM It was a good deal, new motor, fresh interior, and parts car for 800. But wasn't all in one package lol. Guy was doing it as a father son project and his son wasn't into cars. Quote Selected
Hindsight, it sucks Reply #7 – October 12, 2012, 04:36:06 PM Wiring and electrical stuff are on the shortlist of car related items I'm afraid to tackle on my own. Automatic transmissions scare me too, lol. Quote Selected

I thought there were only 8 check balls, 1 orange, 7 black... if installing a B&M shift kit, #7 is not used. Quote Selected
