85 Cougar Parts

I have a 85 Cougar laying around here that I have decided to part out. I have pretty much everything except for the seats. So if anyone needs anything let me know.

Pictures upon request.

CKYIndSpd21,
Hey, where in IL are you?  Are you anywhere close to Marshall, IL?  I'm about 50 miles NE of Effingham on I70, or about 15 miles W of Terre Haute, IN.  Do you have any pictures?  I especially need a passenger door and rocker panel, and a trunk lid.  If your car has the vent window doors, I'd take the set if your price was right.  Please let me know, and if you've got pictures, maybe attach them or e-mail them to me.  Thanks a bunch.

I'm in Morris, kind of close to Joliet if you know where that is. Looks like Marshall is farther south then Champaign and I'm a good 2 hours away from Champaign. This is the only picture of have on my computer that shows the passenger door but I'll go and take more today. I have no idea what ent window doors are so hopefully this picture will help you out.

CKIndSpd21,
Thanks for the reply.  Can you tell me why you are parting the car out?  It looks like it's in fair shape from the picture.  Does it run?  Do you have a title for it?  Do you know what you'd take for the whole car?  How is the interior?  V6 or V8?  Sorry for all the questions.  Oh, your car doesn't have the vent window doors.  What I'm talking about is, on some Cougars/T-birds, the doors have a little triangle-shaped window at the front of the door that flips out like old pickups used to do.  They're kinda rare, I believe.  I just like stuff that's not quite like everybody else.  Do your power windows and locks work in your door?  Again, I apologize for the questions.  Hope to hear from you soon.  Thanks again.

I have no problem answering any of your questions. The reason I am parting out the car because I have a 87 Mustang 5.0 and I saw this car sitting in town forsale for 400 bucks and it had the pony rims on it like in the picture and then one day i noticed they lowered the price to 100 so I called them up and wanted those rims so bad for my Stang and bought it for 100 bucks swapped the rims and now its sitting at my house so I'm trying to make money off it.

The car does not run. The previous owner had another motor to swap into it but then moved and sold the car to me. It's a V6, most of the parts are there or they are in the trunk. But the AOD in there was recently rebuilt and has a shift kit in it so that might be good for anyone that needs an AOD. And I have the title.

All the windows and door locks work except the drivers side window It doesnt go up. Anyway if you have any more questions just feel free to ask.

CK,
Thanks for the reply.  So you've used the Pony rims on your 'Stang that were in the picture?  Darn, I knew that was too good to be true.  So does it have other rims on it now or is it on the ground?  What color is the interior?  I've got an '84 Cougar with not a lot but its share of rust (especially on the parts I asked you about, the pass. door and trunk lid).  It's got a very nice interior, except for a stained carpet.  It's a caramel-metallic on the outside with beige interior.  The one picture you sent of your car makes me think it has less rust than my car.  I could do an interior transplant and a motor swap (mine runs fine, but it's blowing anti-freeze from the back of the motor, either a head gasket or a freeze plug).  The little bit I've drove it, I can say that its V6 is extra strong.  I mean, it flat pulled!  I was doing 80 when I thought I was going 55 or so.  If you would, send me any other pictures you have of your '85 from any angle, inside or out.  My address is eric706@comwares.net.  And let me know for sure whether or not the Pony rims are still on it.  And shoot me a price with the pictures if you would.  Sorry again for all the requests.  Thanks again.
