My new toy!

This was my B-Day present to myself last Thursday.

1977 F150 2WD, it has a 351M that runs like a top & C6. The interior is nice, body not so much.  But I needed a truck and the price was right at $650.

My wife thinks its an old clunker, but I pointed out that it's the only vehicle we own now that doesn't leak any fluids all over the driveway (i.e. her 97' Plymouth and newest vehicle we have) So now she is ok with it:D

Nice! And when the 351M blows up (it will, sooner or later) a 429/460 bolts right up to the C6. Not sure about the mounts, I will ask my buddy Steve. He's had more of those than what is legally allowed, lol.

The '92-'96 wheels look good on it, too!

I was actually thinking that the whole time when I was test driving it!

Back in 2004, I had a Ranchero GT with no title.

Everyday on the way home from work, I passed this house with a '77 F250 in the yard, For Sale sign under the wiper, etc.

had a lift, 35" Hawgs, and body wise, looked nearly identical to yours. At the time, I was making crazy money, and had been trying to buy a modded Cougar from a guy in illinois.

I asked about the truck, they gave me a price. I went to the bank to get the cash, came back, truck was going down the road...sold.

Never did get a chance at the Cougar either, as we started running out of work, and I had to spend the money saved on moving back to the farm. Then I sold the Ranchero for pretty much junk price to a guy who wanted the engine for what I had it for...a swap into a 335 Series engine truck like you have, lol

Nice rig!

Over the years me and my brothers have had probably over 30 of these trucks we actually have 4 right now. 76 1 ton, 76 half ton, 77 1ton, 78 half ton all 4x4's ones a 460, ones a 351m, ones a 400M and the other one is a 390.

Theyre darn nice hard working trucks as long as they dont rust apart.

For the record the 351/400/390/360/302 and the 429/460 have different mounts. The long list use mustang style 1 stud mounts, the 429/460 use double stud mounts. But i believe LNM or LNL sell swap mounts to the tune of $200 or so.  Or if your handy with a welder and cuttin tools you should be set
