Reply #3 – September 19, 2013, 11:05:19 PM Technically, a full console that touches the rear seat would make the car a 4-passenger vehicle.The shorter console from 1987-88 made it a 5-passenger vehicle.However, full console cars could be found with the extra seat belts, depending on model year.I don't think I have any in the '84. The first time I saw this 1983-86 center console, I thought it looked funny going all the way back the way it does, but I've gotten used to it, plus I like how the rear ashtray is the same as the front one. Weird how the cig lighter socket is lighted, but not the rear ashtray. Quote Selected
