The superchargers on 90's gm's are m-62's if I remember right. They are different and will not bolt up to a ford 3.8 sc lower. But the ford 3.8 sc's are not hard to get, but can be expensive.

How do you plan to do the 5 speed? The imballance on the flywheel was unknown for the 87 down 3.8's. 88 up are 0oz imbalance, so there easy to get.

Wheels and tires completely change the look of the car, but I have no idea how hard it is to get them there.

I take it the cougar is running well after your computer problems?

Take care.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

thank you Haystack.

the cougar is well, I have some problems to be solved.

the transmicion is a t-bird 1983 or 84 ... I have the gimbal, the press, the handout of the engine, clutch disk and starting the engine. I just needed pedals which I seek to hyundai for its affordable price.

respect to the supercharger, the Eaton m-90 was my first choice, but now my tendency is to the M-62 are these more affordable ... but that's later.
