in the first video, he probably isn't hitting full boost quickly, because on a dyno you don't rip through the gears.. you gradually get it going until you get it to the gear you want to make your pull with.. on a dyno, 9 times out of 10 , a car doesn't reach full boost until they get in their upper RPM range.. kind of throws the numbers off a little, but that's how it's done

yeah ive seen dyno pulls before. I just watched a few today even at a local shop. But with that 70mm on the 2.3 was crazy. I dont think it even had head work done to it. This guy has a HX35 turbo and he is in full spool for alot longer then the first video was.

70mm is nuts for a 2.3.. overkill, but i bet at the top of 2nd, he's beginning to reach semi-full boost.. if he's at the track, spooling it as he waits for the tree to light up, i bet he could get full boost in 2nd and every gear after, in the upper RPM ranger (4k-4500 i would guess).. he'd be better off with the 57 off my blue car.. i reach full boost too soon lol

DART block 413w with scat crank/rods, KB pistons, cam innovations custom grind (out of my capri's 408), 57mm Garrett, GReddy b.o.v., Tial wastegate, hand built headers, MS2 with parker funnel web intake and edelbrock 4 barrel throttle body.. if i spool before i launch, i'm hitting full boost at  ~3500rpm in first, 23-2500rpm in 2nd at 16psi.. it needs a bigger hair dryer lol

ohhhh lol okay i thought you had a 2.3 and ive heard that 57mm turbos spike really hard on 2.3s so i was curious. oh wow your car is crazy fast im guessing! it sounds like a great build. lol id say it needs a bigger turbo too ; )

i only own 1 4cyl TC, my white/blue junkbox.. i got my blue 1 with the 2.3 still under the hood, but i had no intention of keeping it there from the get-go.. lol

my capri has a 72mm precision on a similarly built 408 and bigger intercooler.. it's best time in 2010 was 9.92 1/4 mile.. i have yet to run it again after the cage, more chassis work and F.A.S.T. install, since i broke my leg last year before it was track ready again.. but it fully spools at 53-5400 and pulls a lot harder.. my garrett on my blue tc is in desperate need of a larger replacement lol
