LA3/big VAM swap March 14, 2012, 10:38:49 PM ok so i have an 84 TC i am in the process of putting together. i finally came across a deal on a complete 88 to rob parts off, so i am going to be using the LA3 and big VAM, as well as the complete engine. I have been researching the swap and it looks like i have to move roughly 4 wires in the computer plug and i'll be good to go. my real question is i have been seeing stuff about wiring up the regular/premium fuel switch. is this necessary? i plan to always run premium in it Quote Selected

LA3/big VAM swap Reply #3 – March 15, 2012, 09:57:22 PM All you have to do is wire a pair of wires from pin 24 OCT SELECT to pin 46 Sig RTN to a toggle switch. With the switch open it is in reg mode. With it closed you are in premium. Just a thought. Quote Selected
