02 GT axles?

94-98 28 spline axles, 87-88 t/c rotors redrilled and the center hub enlarged

Is how i ran mine for years.

Explorer  axle tube s are a differant pattern then the car  axles. I run explorers on my maverick in the rear.

The smart thing would to be to run the 94-98  mustang rear brakes  as far as ease of install.

for now, because of budget, i'm just going with the ranger axles.. when money is less tight, i'll be snagging mosers for a 94-98 SN95, before i start throwing parts at the motor.. yes, it's stupid to do things twice, but it's really just the route i have to take it.. there are no SN95's (with axles still in place) in the u-pull it yard i go to.. they're the only 1's that'll let me take just the axles OR don't want 180+ for them when they hear the word 'mustang'

No Mark 7 stuff near you?

I went on a salvage yard run last weekend for Mark VII axles, brakes, etc, but that was the first time I ever went that there wasn't at least one in each yard.
The Mark VII axles will put your tires right to the inside edge of the wheelwells....

shorter i can cope with, but wider may cause issues with the 17x9's and the wheel well lip
