88 tbird sport t5 in MA

hey guys. ive been taking a break from car stuff for awhile. this is more of a feeler thread. im considering selling my car. i havnt touched it in a month or so. still needs a watter pump gasket. i was going to just get a HO and replace the so once for all. it would come with a turbo coupe rear diff with 373s and a turbo coupe header, 2 lower bumper covers, inner markers, possibly 2 fenders, and whatever parts i have left over as well as 2 new 5 lug axles, 01 cobra front spindles and hubs, and 01 cobra wheels. i was going to ask 2200. i dont know for sure weather or not i can break down and sell it. i want to but i know ill kick myself in the butt if i do. on the other hand shes just sitting there and i dont have the tbird fever right now. it would be nice to have some extra cash on hand with #2 nose gobblin on the way. i dunno, gaugeing interest and enterntaining offers. its a great starting piont for a project. check out my cardomain for pics...thanks guys...john

Well since you're just wondering, I'd buy it. Course I don't have the monies to buy it but if I did I would. I think that's a good deal. I wouldn't sell it if I were you though. I thought about selling my Bird at one point in time just because I didn't have the money to fix it. But then I thought about all those times I drove a car I hated and quickly forgot about gaining monetary value for my favorite car. ^_^

Keep it for now.... you can always sell it later. :)

I agree with dark thunder. I had the sam issue with my first 86. After driving it down to the gas station to finally get it going I was all smiles. Just keep it till you cant. You will be glad.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
