88 tbird mirrors on 91 mustang

They look similar, and the mustang ones are entirely too small. I have a spare set in the attic I was think of bolting on (no electrical, just manual adjust)

So I ask the tbird gods, will this work?

The mustangs have two bolts instead of three, but the pattern looks the same. If you take off the windsplitters(the black part between window and mirror) then there are only two bolts, and I believe that should bolt up. I am not sure if the window trim will get in the way or not though.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
