Wheel and tire sizes

I want to upgrade my brakes, so I have to get larger wheels also (I have 14s). I would like to know the with and backspacing of the factory 15s. What tire sizes were available from the factory with 15s. If I knew the sizes I would know what to look for. With any luck I can find something I like without converting to 5 lug.

Anything that would fit the Fox-chassis Mustang will fit your car.

The stock 15x7's had an offset of 22mm.  Tires sizes were 225/55 or 225/60

10-holes and turbines would fit your car fine. They were on mustangs from 87-93. I actually really like the 16's, snow flakes that the turbo coupes from 87-88 had. If you have not seen the 4 lug pony wheels, you can get those aftermarket and off of mustang guys pretty cheap as well.

I knew any Fox wheels would work, I just wanted sizes so I could explore the aftermarket. If I can't find anything in the aftermarket I will try to get 10 holes.

There has to be a joke about Escorts and 15 inches, but I can't come up with one.

if your want some good deals on used sets of wheels you might look on corral.net.
