Those were refinished when I bought the car and have held up so far, I like the two tone also, my door panels are done the same way with Silver inset above the arm rest
88 Turbocoupe: Coast High Performance 331 kit 28oz balance, Comp XE264HR14 cam, 58cc 185 afr heads, 1.7 roller rockers, Mass-Flo EFI (was POS to setup and their techline is a joke at best)
Full 1 5/8 primary equal length headers, 2 1/2 exhaust, Full manual reverse VB c4 and baked off clear coat "BECAUSE RACECAR"

i'm beginning to wonder how well silver will cover blue.. the interior in my new tc is all blue and it looks a little bland to me.. anyone ever done a light color over dark like that?

I think silver would cover with less bleed through than white.

Take a picture of your interior and work it up in Photoshop. Here is my photoshopped version of my car. http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee367/T-BirdX3/interiorRear.jpg At least then you'll have an idea of what it'll look like.

well i know what it'll look like lol it's look like the interior in my black car.. i'm just wondering how well it would cover the blue, beings it's a darker color

i think it looks really good...although I prefer black-n-grey.

Yes, I did repaint the red.

 
I agree. When I had my front & rear inserts done in charcoal it made a world of difference. The red just needed to be broken up a little.

I love the red interiors. Its the blue ones that I can't stand lol
