car lot sighting

a buddy of mine spotted a 4 eyed bird sitting at a car lot by accident.. 'BLOWN ENGINE' freshly written in window chalk across the windshield.. and by accident i mean (a usual for us) look at the cadillac funeral flower car with flames and laugh.. so i stopped to check it out after my physical therapy appointment.. she's either an 84 or 85, appears to be a base model with no real goodies. py little 3.8 auto, blown motor as stated on the windshield.. price, $800.. but you can tell the price was written a while ago, as it's slightly faded, unlike 'blown engine' which was practically still wet when i looked at it.. i definitely think it was mexican owned, as it has an APC sticker on the rear bumper and a walmart exhaust tip lol.. tomorrow i'm going to a flea market to try unloading some unwanted stuff and some of my less-valuable nascar .. so on my way home, i'm going to see if i can pick it up for around 350-450 and just drop a mild 302 in it for the time being

will do.. 450 is my absolute max, since i have to tow it home, trash the motor and trans and get a trans for the 302.. plus it was dark and i couldn't see any body flaws, which i'm sure i'll find tomorrow lol

no such luck.. got out of the (waste of my time) flea market late.. didn't get to the lot til around 6:30 and they were closed.. i shall try again another day
