What color control arms? October 02, 2011, 06:37:14 PM I work weekends as a server, and use it as my project money. I have enough to get some CHE control arms, yet I'm undecided what color to get for my Cougar. Quote Selected
What color control arms? Reply #1 – October 02, 2011, 09:14:13 PM Mine are black. I really wouldn't have cared either way, they're under the car and going to get dirty. I installed a nice differential girdle, and you can't see that either unless you crawl under the car. Quote Selected
What color control arms? Reply #2 – October 02, 2011, 09:25:40 PM I plan on having only silver or black suspension parts. I was just wanting opinions. It'll be $10 extra for the rear Upper and Lower Control arms to have them powdercoated a different color than black. This is a cruiser and show car. Someday I might use mirrors on the undercarriage. What color control arms? Reply #4 – October 03, 2011, 09:08:11 AM I vote black, not highly visable and its cheaper. Quote Selected
What color control arms? Reply #5 – October 03, 2011, 09:41:56 AM I have silver CHE's on the convertible...wouldn't have had them any other color, and since it's a show car, they do stand out. Quote Selected

I know they don't stand out ALOT, but this is my pride and joy, and I do show it when I can. Sometime in the future I would like to put it on a rotisserie for sub-frame connectors, torque boxes and an undercarriage clean up and paint. I plan to lay out mirrors underneath at car shows, so this would be a little touch. Plus I love the 'Vert haha, and it inspires me to customize my car, the Cougar won't get too many custom touches, but my newly aquired T-Bird will be nothing but custom.Eric, are yours adjustable(upper or lower)? I know I don't need double adjustable uppers because this thing won't see the track much if at all, but the lower arms I'm iffy about getting adjustable or non-adjustable. It's a whopping $50, but do I "need" it. Quote Selected
What color control arms? Reply #7 – October 03, 2011, 06:26:04 PM Mine are non-adjustable. Most people won't need the adjustable ones. Save the $50, spend the $10 for silver, you're $40 ahead and they look pretty. :)I crawl under my car and clean them all the time...they clean up nice, even being a lighter color. Plus the wheels are now powdercoated silver so they sort of match. Quote Selected
What color control arms? Reply #8 – October 03, 2011, 07:16:56 PM I was going to go black... but after seeing the silver on here I dunno.Silver looks like the way to go. Quote Selected
What color control arms? Reply #9 – October 04, 2011, 12:40:58 AM your car is SOO clean! I LOVE it! That's not much silver at all. In my head it seemed like they would stand out drastically. I like how subtle, yet noticeable they are. Quote Selected
