In my chilhood a car called my atention "74 Grand marquis" its simple elegance and its robust lines protruding of the other car.their emblems, lights and those chrome."its smooth ride in the air" thought.In my city de ford aren't popular car, because GMC have a factory (my familie worked long time ago (mother & Uncle)) I the black sheep of my familie always they say to my "buy a chevrolet!!!". the puppiesanese and corean car from import are very cheep, Arica is a port city.REBEL IS MY NAME...my first car buy it after a year of work at 18 years old a MERKUR XR4TI with out turbo with very problems "crystal broken, bad inyection and flujometro...etc)I have which been slowly restoring. I find part a deposit car's... its have installed inyection taurus 88, turbo Garret T-bird 83, flujometro SVO 88 ETC. Is my joung car.the prise $500 US => GOOD BUY.A month ago i find a abandoned mercury cougar which buys. happy can say "have a 87 LS automatic transmition 232'' " but its can't walk and have a bad condition exterior.Final Price 1000 US very expensive.I am sure I'll find the problem, i think the car have a electrical problem... the engine is good condition." the car one day cant start and never start on" say to my the last owner.I am very happy working in my "trash" as my mother say. i m sure whith you help and the foro information the cougar will have a new life.Ciao Pablo Solimano. :burnout: Quote Selected
