It would be sweet to put a nice V8 engine in, problem with living in california is the smogging and that's gonna be a pain.  So i'm stuck anyways, and i can't afford the gas, and i have to commute to work............ *shakes fist*.. stupid gas prices.

You would have no problems swapping in a nice EFI v8 and getting it smogged.  Hell a 3.8SC would drop in and once you got the fuel system taken care of and didn't try to kill your trans, you would have more power, better mileage and run cleaner.

The car does sound pretty cool, but you will most likely have a rough time getting much more than $700-1000 out of it....regardless of the condition.
