Ordered the hood!

I rodered the hood from motor sports parts usa yester day i will get it on friday.  When i get it I will post pictures and elaborate on quality. Other than that the customer service is very good and all the people seem to be realy nice!

I'm patient. I can wait. I get my "new" hood tomorrow as well. WOO-HOO !!!!

Got it grade it as fair i like it.  It fits what i need it for i dont know about all of you the surfacelooks a little rough but i gues we will see. Here are the pics.

Nice hood. I'd like to design my own, which is easy enough. It's the "making it into reality" part that sucks. I picked up my TC hood  today and may just do something a little different with it. We'll see.......or not.

Vinnie, if you can dream it I can make it a reality. I combined an S10 hood with a 2500 HD Silverado Hood. Was a sweet looking cowl hood. Nothing a cutoff wheel, some metal, and some adhesive can't help.

I'd like to see a pic of it if you have one. I have a few ideas, but probably will stop short of following through and just leave this hood alone....except for paint. I had thought about a cowl hood like above, but don't want to draw that kind of attention to the car. I want the Sport to be mildly understated.

The only Pic I have is of half of the cowl sitting on the hood before I bonded them together. It was a significant step but looked sweet.

Was it a great fit, or did any mods have to be done for proper fitment? How's the overall quality?

It Wasn't  a great fit but once i got all the gaps even i drilled all the holes for the hood pins  After that it looked pretty good except that it sagged in the middle so i got some of those little hood bumpers that are usually on there and moved them to the center and adjusted them all the way out and it looked good after that.
