Turn signals??

Ok on a 87 TBird, from what I recall the turn signals should alternate between the light on the fender and the signal on the front of car.

Mine are not doing that.  The fender lights act like they want to blink but don't and the front signals are blinking a little slower.

What would cause this and where can I look to get this issue rectified?

Thanks

Ok - I read this thread... am I barking up the wrong tree??

"They are designed to activate with the turn signal to light up the area into a turn. They operate through relays so they stay on steady while the signal is flashing. Would just need the proper cornering lamp relays."

The lights in the front fenders are indeed cornering lamps; they don't flash. Your car sounds like it has fully functional turn signals.

Ok, thanks.  I must be losing my mind slowly.  Getting old sucks.
