My 06 Fusion

I thought I posted pics. of my Fusion before, I might have but here's one after I brought it home and how it looks now.

Nice fusion...my wife has a 2010 Fusion Sport and we absolutely love it. Its kinda funny that ours has more HP than the New edge GT Mustangs! It will move out pretty good for a stock FWD V6 sedan.

Than the new edge and gt mustangs? Can you clarify? There is no way your 2010 puts out more than the mustang gt..

New Edge = 99-04

I rented a Milan last summer with the V6 and the SS Auto. It was a nice car. Spent over a week with it. It had decent power, was outfitted nice, drove OK. Not sure how I would like it every day though.

I love it, with 224 hp the V6 really has good power. I don't know if it's more than the Mustangs mentioned but it will defenately move out. So far I've only added a K&N filter to it and removed the air intake silencer but I plan to get a cat back exhaust for it and I've heard there is a computer tune that will increase the power out put even more. It's been along time since I've enjoyed a car as much as I do this one. It's right up there with my T-Bird with how much I like it. And that's saying something.

The Sport Fusion has a 3.5 V6 with 263 hp....so yeah it puts out more HP than a 2 valve 4.6 found in the new edge 'stangs (those were rated at 260 hp). Not saying its faster (although it may be closer than you think), but it does have similar hp with 2 less cylinders.

Have you had any problems with the fusion? My mom has an 06 and she's had a ton of problems with it.

The only problem I've had with it was the front struts needed lubed. It felt like the tie rods where going to fall off, but as soon as I told them about it they knew what it was. Other than that it's been great. It only has 34,000 miles on it, does she have alot on her's?

She's at about 51,000 miles. Half of the interior window switches don't work, the gear shift selector was fixed twice(there is a TSB on it, apparently part of it under hood gets stuck and doesn't allow the key to be removed. And the air conditioner leaks into the car. We tried to have this fixed under warranty but Ford could never "find the problem". two dealerships and 4 techs later.

This was the biggest reason I didn't buy a Mustang or the SVT Raptor, if I had a problem, Ford would probably not help.

That sucks man. It sounds like she bought a lemon. I've not had a problem so far with the dealerships not taking care of any problems. I hope I don't. I have changed dealerships though, we didn't like the way the salesman dealt with us so we bought the Focus at a different one, and now that's where I'm going to have the Fusion serviced as well.
