Front lowering springs.

I've been searching for this and I can't find it (someone will post a link to it I'm sure) but I'm wondering what front springs I can use to lower the front end 1-1.5 inches. I'd like to go 1.5" at the most so I don't have to run caster/camber plates to keep the car inline. I seem to remember that stock 87-88 Turbo Coupe springs should do the trick, lowering the front with a 5.0 about 1 inch or so. Does anyone happen to have the part number for Moog replacement Turbo Coupe front springs?

SN-95 springs. They dropped mine about 1.5 up front. EASY swap, and free. They are all over the bone yards.

I had the front end aligned without the need for caster/camber plates, car still has the same road feel, and it tracks great.

Lou, I've had TC springs on the front of mine, with an iron headed HO, and didn't have any noticeable drop compared to the V8 Sport stock springs. I've got '96 springs under it now, but I can't tell you (yet) what the amount of drop is, since I've yet to put the engine back in...if I get my inner and outer tie rods ends in by Friday, Saturday night I might just throw the engine in, so maybe I'll have that info by the first of next week...although I'm sure someone else here will tell you what ya wanna know.

As I stated, mine dropped about an inch and a half with SN-95 springs. No tire rub (255 40 17's up front), no rubbing when turning, looks good, and I can still take a speed bump without slowing to a near stop.

What SN-95 springs did you use? I can easily get the front and rear springs for a 99-04 Mustang GT. If those will work fine then I'll use them. There's no sense in spending the extra $$$ for Mach 1 or Bullit springs if the cheaper Mustang GT springs will work fine.

Those you mentioned are what I'm talking about. I got mine for free, and they dropped the whole car perfectly.

99-04 GT springs will do it? Sweet. I can get brand new ones for almost nothing :). I think I'll get a set and throw them on next year when I swap in my 88 XR7 8.8 rear.
