265/70-15

I had a pair of 265/50-15s for spares just to move the car around. They went flat so I took them to work to fix the leaks. Bead ripped on one, Plus they were bald so I really didn't feel like it was worth messing with them anymore. Just so happens we put 4 tires on a Nissan last night and 2 of them had a little tread left so I mounted them up. Figured if they didn't fit oh well I'll just wait for something smaller...

They fit and I still have room to spare. On a side note I got it started, drove it up and down the street, remembered how slow it was, then parked it and covered it back up.

Think I might get tagged in the next few months and start driving it to work to tie up some loose ends. Get it solid again then start throwing parts at it slowly.

Omg those are massive. No wonder your car feels slow, you basically doubled your final drive!

Yeah that doesn't help but the tired old 302 with the stock gears does a lot too. To top it off those are Cooper Discover ATRs so the block all terrain look is funny too. Wiggles around going down the gravel drive a lot too. They won't stay on the car. Did it just because I could.
