Help, quick driveshaft question April 25, 2011, 02:51:25 PM I removed the four bolts, now what? The shaft didn't fall down, and helping it with a hammer didn't make it drop. Am I missing something? Quote Selected

I'm replacing my U joints; I've been getting some vibration above 65, and...not a thud or a clunk, but a lurch after letting off the throttle. Sometimes. I'll have to see if that did the trick on my way to work tomorrow. If not, it's probably one of my wheels. Quote Selected

There's still a little tiny bit of vibration, but nothing like the death rattle I was getting before. I'm getting new tires tomorrow, along with a front end alignment. I'd wager that will get rid of all my vibration. Thanks again.It's odd though, the u joints that came out were much smaller, and unable to be greased. Gald to hear you got the new ones in , :) As far as your question there are two schools of thought on that issue , one is it's cheaper to make them that way , second is that the Non grease-able type is stronger because it's not hollowed out by the channels used to carry the grease Quote Selected
