going to the track!!!! looking for 11.3.... Reply #2 – April 27, 2011, 10:47:32 PM I have to hang my head in shame...... I could not get the car any faster, I ran it 8 times in 2 hours(90*) no one showed up lol.I ran 11.6 6 times and one 11.7 and one 11.9, on those two runs it felt like it was running out of gas??? maybe since it was so hot.I guess i'll wait till the winter, but might have the tremec 3550 in by then. going to the track!!!! looking for 11.3.... Reply #6 – April 28, 2011, 09:56:08 PM It had to be great fun to get all those runs in!Looks like your 60' times were soft. The MPH look great, particulaly when you consider how hot it was.Going with a manual can help it launch harder. Usually takes a bit of a learning curve to dial it in... Quote Selected

I know, I will be pissed if the car runs slower after all that work. That's why im going to have my 150lbs buddy race it first, lolThis is what he practices on, lol http://www.blowbyracing.com/robmollet.htmlhttp://www.musclemustangfastfords.com/events/mmfp_0607_fun_ford_weekend_drag_race/photo_26.htmlHe hasn't raced much since tyler was born, but im sure he'll do fine.
