wanted cool air intake Reply #2 – April 20, 2011, 12:18:06 PM The kits are all over ebay. Mustang ones work fine if you have a mass air meter or something to put in its place Quote Selected
wanted cool air intake Reply #3 – April 20, 2011, 01:18:17 PM thanks! any 5.0 mustang that fits 86-93 will work right? will a cone filter coming off the factory tubing work? Quote Selected
wanted cool air intake Reply #4 – April 20, 2011, 10:16:17 PM I dont have an answer for that since I built all of my engine bay from pieces. I have heard that removing the air silencer gives some improvement. Quote Selected
wanted cool air intake Reply #5 – April 20, 2011, 10:31:43 PM Remove the air silencer, install a high quality air filter in the factory box and you're good to go. The factory air box IS a CAI (Cold Air Induction) setup. Quote Selected
wanted cool air intake Reply #6 – April 21, 2011, 12:19:04 AM I did what Vinnie mentioned above to mine and it made a nice difference. I took mine out and put a K&N in the air box. When you open it up the engine is louder and there's a gain in power too. And it's cheaper than buying a cai. Quote Selected
